Full size 1914 star with bar

5th Aug. - 22nd Nov 1914

1914 star also known as "The Mons star" The clasp was instituted in 1919, The clasp, was awarded to those who had served under fire or who had operated within range of enemy mobile artillery in France or Belgium during the period between 5 August and 22 November 1914.

Full size British war medal

The British war medal was awarded to officers and men of the British and Imperial Forces who had fought in WW1 (28 completed days mobilised service) the medal was automatically awarded in the event of death in active service before the completion of this period.

Full size Victory medal

The victory medal was issued to all those who received the 1914 star and the 1914-15 star, and most of those who were awarded the British War medal, it was never awarded on it's own.
